Streaming Moderator Pay Compensation Program

THE COMPENSATION POOL

20% shared by eligible stream moderators.

The program sets aside a shared pool equal to 20% of eligible streaming revenue actually received after platform fees and refunds. This is one pool shared among eligible moderators—not a separate 20% payment to every moderator.

For example, $1,000 in eligible revenue after platform fees and refunds creates a $200 moderator pool. How that $200 is divided depends on the allocation agreed for the assigned moderators.

Compensation follows your moderation assignment.

Platform-specific moderation

When your assignment covers a particular platform, the shared pool is calculated from the eligible streaming revenue for that platform. Your compensation comes from that platform’s pool according to your confirmed allocation.

Across-platform moderation

When your assignment covers streams across platforms, a combined shared pool can be calculated from the eligible streaming revenue across the agreed platforms. Your assignment will identify which platforms are included.

The same revenue is not counted twice in both a platform pool and a combined pool. The pool arrangement and each moderator’s share will be confirmed before paid participation begins.

Gift-related bonuses & additional recognition

Steph1 may award additional bonuses connected to gifts received during streams, special events, or outstanding moderator contributions. Bonuses are separate from the base pool allocation; their amount and eligibility are confirmed when awarded. A gift or an application does not automatically create a bonus entitlement.

What moderators help with

• Welcome viewers and keep conversations respectful and inclusive.
• Apply chat rules consistently and manage spam, harassment, and disruptions.
• Support stream activities and coordinate with Steph1 and fellow moderators.
• Protect private information and escalate issues that need the streamer’s attention.
• Communicate availability and fulfill agreed moderation coverage.

From application to an agreed assignment

1. Apply with your Discord username, social profiles, streaming links, server ownership details, experience, and availability.
2. Steph1 reviews your application and discusses suitable platforms and responsibilities.
3. Before paid participation, confirm the covered platforms, eligible revenue, your share of the pool, reporting period, payment timing and method, and any bonus terms.

This page explains the program structure. Applying or receiving a moderation role alone does not guarantee paid participation or a specific amount. Individual compensation arrangements are confirmed separately.
